Tzatziki Flatbread


Hello Food Blogging World! I am so excited to be doing another blog post, after so much time away from cooking and writing. I have been in the mood for Greek food but there are no good places around where I live. Also a lot of Greek food has lemon in it and since I am allergic, I decided to make it on my own. And I was really impressed on the simplicity but refreshing taste of this recipe. Thank you for the idea and how-to. 🙂



  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 minced Garlic Cloves
  • 1 (15.5 ounce) can Chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 pieces of Pita or Naan
  • 1 cup of Tzatziki Sauce (I will be attaching my homemade sauce recipe soon)
  • Sliced Tomatoes
  • Sliced Red Onion
  • Tahini Sauce
  • Sriracha Sauce
  • Chopped Cilantro


Step 1:  Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 3: Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.


Step 4: Add chickpeas, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until heated through.


Step 5: Put flatbread in oven for a few minutes, until it is slightly crunchy.

Step 6: Remove flatbread from the oven. Spread each flatbread with a thick layer of tzatziki.

Step 7: Spread the chickpeas and garnishes of your choice.


Step 8: Eat and enjoy.
