How to Oven-Roast Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas are all the rage on Pinterest, especially if you are into pinning healthy snacks. I was really interested, as was some of this blog’s viewers. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical that these would come out tasting yummy. I imagined an ashy-burnt taste. But I am happy to say, with the right combination of seasoning, I was enjoying them a lot. They smelled like home-popped popcorn and tasted similar to roasted nuts.

I noticed mine do not have that pretty golden orange color that those pictures on Pinterest have. I am not sure why, but mine were more yellow-brown. Whatever! This a great way to eat a healthy snack or even put on top of a salad for some crunch. The original recipe comes from Hope you experiment and have fun!
