Frozen Banana Ice Cream


Today my friend Tina and I decided to make a super healthy but sweet snack. We deliberated for a while on what to make and I was driving myself crazy. I wanted to make something with little mess, cheap, easy to make AND unique for the blog. Tina had a lightbulb moment when we passed by the produce aisle in the supermarket. Frozen Bananas!!! I have been a bit skeptical about this recipe but decided to give it a go. We were super happy about the results.

  • Banana (as many as you want!)
  • Optional: Peanut butter, chocolate chips, chocolate sauce

Step 1: Peel bananas.



Step 2: Slice bananas into 1/2 in pieces and place into a bowl. We were trying to lay them into a single layer to avoid massive sticking, which was unnecessary because they do not really stick to each other.



Step 3: Freeze for about an hour.

Step 4: Add optional ingreidents at this time. Blend frozen bananas in a food processor or a blender until smooth.
