My dog Hazel and I share the same birthday. As I have now spent 24 years on this year, she has now experienced one full year filled with naps, toys, doggie dresses and nothing but love 🙂 I am about to go on a little rant about how adorable my puppy is, so if you are not into looking at adorable pictures of someone else’s dog, that is totally cool. Just scroll down for the recipe and step-by-step picture process of how to make your doggie peanut butter cupcakes.
This is Hazel on the first day from the flea market (where my parents found her). I should have known then that she would have an obsession with ripping up paper.
She was so tiny she fit underneath the table and would take naps between the poles.
She was dwarfed by her Uncle Cesar, my parents’ boxer. She looks so cute with her pink harness.
When she met her big sister Sookie for the first time, she immediately knew love. She enjoys curling up against Sookie and randomly popping up to attack her sister’s tail.
She enjoys her photo sessions, which Grandma and Titi Becka take so may pictures I am afraid that Hazel will go blind from all the flashes.
After a day of being lazy, being cuddled and kissed on, Hazel’s favorite thing is to fall asleep wrapped in a fleece blanket.
These cupcakes are very simply to make. If you can not find rye flour, whole wheat will work fine also. The original recipe comes from http://thescrumptiouspumpkin.com/2013/04/10/happy-birthday-puppy-with-easy-peanut-butter-cupcakes-for-dogs/.
