Simple Chili Bean Dip

IMG_2760

My Dad, who is the hand model yet again, loves to make this chip dip to bring to parties. It is inexpensive, simple and delicious. Three ingredients couldn’t be easier and it is ALWAYS a hit when he brings it to parties. When I did eat meat, I loved munching on this throughout the gatherings. I will be posting, in the future, a non-meat option to this recipe when I learn how to prefect it for my vegan/vegetarian readers.

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
  • 8 oz Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 25 oz Can of Chili with Beans

Step 1: Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2: In a clean metal tray or casserole dish, spread the cream cheese evenly.

Step 3: Spread the chili with beans evenly over the cream cheese.

Step 4: Sprinkle the entire bag of cheese evenly over the chili.

*Note: This recipe can be stopped here and refrigerated until you are ready to bake it. I’m not saying it will hold forever… that would just end up being gross, but I think a day or two should be fine if covered and chilled.

Step 5: Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.

Step 6: Serve with chips. Eat and Enjoy
