How to Bake Bacon in the Oven

IMG_2786

I have been meaning to do this recipe for a long time now. Even though I am a vegetarian, I will still cook meat for my fiancé. The man loves his bacon but I hate standing over a stove having to fry it and get splattered by the oil. I also hate when the entire house if filled with the bacon smoke and I feel greasy cooking it. So how do you get crunchy bacon and not have to do pretty much any effort to cook it? Here is the how-to “oven-fry” recipe and I know my carnivores out there are going to love the effortless way to get delicious bacon.

Ingredients:

  • Thawed Bacon

Step 1: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. This will reduce the amount of cleaning you will how to do later.

Step 2: Place a metal cooling rack (like the one you use for cookies) on top of the baking sheet.

Step 3: Line the cooling rack with a single layer of bacon.

Step 4: Place tray in a cold oven.

Step 5: Turn oven to 400 degrees and bake for about 20 minutes.

Step 6: Eat and Enjoy!

*Didn’t I tell you that way easy 🙂
